My attempts at painting

My attempt at painting was remarkably successful, and was well worth the tragic loss of my favorite jeans (they will be missed).

I was very happy with the way my painting came out. That’s not saying much: I’m satisfied if there is a vague resemblance to the thing I was trying to draw. The picture was pretty cool by my standards though. I’ll put it up in a bit for the internet to see.

If you want (or need) to take a painting class I’d highly suggest having an apron handy. A plain white apron like the SA-34BNP white bib apron without pockets works great, but something like the SA-GAP grocers apron would be much better (It’s a bib apron, so don’t worry, you’re on the right page). The apron’s pockets are definitely a convenience for storing brushes and the like. In the long run, you can’t really go wrong with any of our specialty bib aprons.

No matter which apron you decide to grab, a white apron would probably be your best bet. Not only are they oh so slightly cheaper, but the paint that will inevitably end up covering the apron will tell the story of your artistic adventures. (If you’re not the best artist in the world, your friends and family will still be impressed by the amount of time you’d have had to have spent painting to get that much paint on your apron by accident. We won’t tell them that actually splattered the apron with paint intentionally in a creative attempt at modern art ;) ).

If you have some artwork or perhaps a really messy (or pretty) apron that you want to show the world, pop me an email (its in the top right hand corner of the website).
